You die and reincarnate in another world, what do you do?
Discussion
Just something I've wondered about for a while. You die, and are reincarnated in another world. You are born, as a baby with your memories from your past life intact.
What do you do? And that means everything. You in theory have cheat codes for life, even though its a different world and may or may not have magic, for example. You have another chance.
If the world you are reborn in to is less advanced than this one, do you use your knowledge to become rich? Help people? Or just take it easy? Do you change the world and introduce such advancements that its very nature is changed?
What about relationships. Do you use your experience to fix mistakes of your past and not worry, do you vow not to date until X age due to your mental age gap, do you vow to be celibate for life or, in a world with other races who may be longer lived/older (Elves etc), do you seek those out?
Do you tell people? Or keep it hidden?

As an average person, can't think of many tangible benefits you'd have to offer somewhere more primitive other than promoting basic cleanliness.
Which they'd probably burn you for.
It's not as if you can whip up a laptop from some minerals lying around.
You might also be able to make a hang glider from bamboo and animal skins.
They'd burn you for that too.

You'd need a modern assault rifle and a ton of ammunition and you'll be the king of the planet.
Oh, we are talking reincarnation here

You would obviously have to be careful how you did introduce any advancement, if they were of the 'burn it' type, but that was our dark ages.
I've often wondered if our natural ability that most people have is reincarnated experience, each life you have you skill up, one life you become great at chatting up the opposite sex, another life you concentrate on sports, another you focus on increasing intelligence, another business person of the year etc. Eventually you end up that god tier having built a multi million pound company in your late teens and spend your twenties onwards floating around the world on a mega yacht surrounded by gorgeous people and enjoying yourself, but it's your last life, once it's over you're out. Meanwhile Dave living in a council flat in bognor, working in Tesco's for min wage, getting nowhere with Tracy is on his first life and has to wait till the next one to get the instruction manual.
I say often. I drink very little in the grand scheme of things, but a couple of times a year I start debating nonsense!

2 words: alien pussy
Allowing for the fact that the alien pussy then doesn't eat you alive rather like spiders do. Or how do you know that you don't then suddenly become the alien pussy? You're assuming that men are dominant, it could be that you'll end up dying of snu snu but not like in Futurama

What would you do? Go insane probably.
We're capable of processing far more than we realise, we think of the worst thing we can, losing a loved one, watching that loved dog grow old and pass away, being diagnosed with a terrible disease and having to have operations, we say (and think) I don't think I can deal with that. But presented with the circumstances we just get on with it. Think of all those young men (and women) who face war, horrific scenes, for sure it scars a lot but many more come home and return to normal life. Perhaps the people we see on street corners self medicating to deal with their demons or in institutions are those who couldn't cope with the information! My biggest worry? In the words of Rodney, I worry if such a thing as reincarnation exists I'll probably come back as me!
