2 parcels delivered and awaiting pick-up from Evri store, email notification for both items. Attend store, not there. Go there on 3 separate occasions, both parcels not there. £50 worth of stock now missing.

Shop says contact Evri, done that, useless - no customer service and bots/emails who say package delivered, nothing to do with them. Go to shop who say package not delivered by Evri, nothing to do with them. I stand there with having done nothing wrong, no parcels, out of pocket, nobody willing to assist.

What am I supposed to do now? I suspect they have been nicked as the Evri store points you to 3 boxes in the middle of the shop and say find your own parcels. I fancy nicking someone else's now to make up the loss.

It's not clear from your post - are you a buyer whose items have gone missing?

If so, contact the seller, they are the ones who have a contract with the delivery company, not you.

Items not delivered, raise dispute, ask for replacement or refund.

IANAL. But…

You don’t have a contract with Evri. The shipper does.

It’s not your job to argue with Evri (and, believe me, I’ve tried!) but the loss should be on the person that contracted them.

Have you tried contacting the sender?

Yes I am the buyer. About to message sellers now but think will know what will happen... although the parcel doesn't show as delivered on the trtacking so maybe I am covered? Had no choice but to use Evri, its Vinted.

My wife's ordered a few bits at the start of the year, some kind of hairdryer/curler thing from Shark and some expensive makeup. She didn't have a choice of who delivered them but they ended up being sent by Evri.

Both made it to the warehouse but then just stopped. It went on for weeks and when speaking with Shark (who were quite good about it) they mentioned it happens a lot and they suspect they're being stolen in the delivery depots.

I actively avoid Evri if I can possibly help it, our local delivery driver is great but the sorting depots appear to be full of thieving st bags on a nice little earner nicking goods to sell.

I know exactly what will happen - they'll refund you or reship the items.

Not sure what you mean - if you didn't post it and pay for the service, how did you have no choice? It's not up to you.

I assume the only parcels don’t shown as collected by yourself so on the system they will still show as out for delivery or at the parcel shop?

As long as you don’t show as collecting them the process will be after a point in time the shop will have to send the parcels back to the sender and then the system will fall down and Vinted should issue a refund to you.

It sounds more from what you have described OP that the issue is with the shop who can’t protect the parcels they are taking delivery of than Evri though.

My wife ordered a DVD box set through Vinted last week, when she went to the shop to collect they tried to give her an empty ripped envelope, she called me before accepting it and I told her to refuse it and contact Vinted, thankfully she got a refund almost immediately. Courier was Relay on that one.

He’s the purchaser. He doesn’t get to choose!

But the buyer has designated delivery to a pick up location and Evri says the packages were delivered and may have a photo of the location so the loss could be on the OP for failing to manage their designated delivery location.

The delivery photo and possibly GPS coordinates are the best hope of claiming a wrong delivery which may be sufficient evidence for the retailer to refund or reship the goods.

Has Evri provided a photo of the delivery?

Down here in the deepest parts of cornwall Evri are total crap
Might as well add a week to any stated delivery dates, assuming that they actually turn up
Not necessarily blaming the drivers but the whole company
Am currently waiting for a delivery which was due on 24th, no delivery date given yet
Have asked sellers not to use Evri (yes, you too amazon) but no such luck
Grrr

Has Evri provided a photo of the delivery?
And in what possible way has dropping it off as a shop confirmed delivery to the purchaser?

The clowns left an item in our bin as “delivered”, the same bin that was out in the street for emptying that day.

Signed memorabilia from a long dead sports star.

Their response was “ask the vendor to send you another”.

Yeah, cheers for that, we’ll break out the ouija board shall we….

Had plenty of deliveries left in the recycling bins (so not smelly etc) myself, but well inside the (numerous) properties. Think common sense would prevail? Losers!

They must choose the thickest people possible as drivers, who invariably speak very little English!
Recently one of their new thickos delivered parcels to our office addressed to no less than 6 neighbouring houses. They all have the same postcode, so the driver assumed it was the same address.....
I tried emailing Evri HQ as this happened several times - I did get a reply saying they would look into it, but no follow up & the same issue keeps occurring randomly.
They also have a nasty habit of delivering after office hours & leaving boxes out in the rain.
Yep, they are utter crap.

I had a failed delivery yesterday from them because "Front door / Driveway was not accessible"

News to me, so jump onto my CCTV at the stated time the delivery was tried and nobody in sight... no new barricades or jungles had grown in the 2 hours since leaving the house..

Very odd..

Of course... it was a purchase via Amazon.. so no humans anywhere to ask why they are lying.. just got to hope they try again today..

Why did Evri deliver to the shop and not the home address?

The shop delivery was requested by the OP.

I don't allow my customers to redirect my parcel (I'm the seller) to drop off locations / parcel-points. Too much hassle, too many losses.

OP - just push the sellers - it's their responsibility. And next time avoid that drop off store like the plague. Prob safer having the parcels sitting in your doorstep than in there by the sounds of it.
