What is this equipment?

AI says it is a Point to Point wireless rely or bridge for high speed internet. Which if correct makes the next part a bit odd, at some point over the weekend, some decided to cut it down, put a grinder though the column just above the box section.

Looks like ANPR camera of some sort is also on there.

It looks like it is linked to the wires embedded in the road and filled back up with tar - probably traffic density monitor.

I believe that it may link to water meters. Data from local meters is relayed to a local data collection station. We have similar installed round by us - not exactly the same but very similar so I may be wrong.

Traffic master used to have cameras like that. The system is no longer in use.

Interesting, I didn't register a camera up there, but it does look at lot like a Tag Master CT45 from some searching. That would explain why someone cut it down, probably got a fine off it and went for revenge.
