I received a package today, about the size of an oversized A4 cardboard envelope, correct address but a name I didn't recognise. Pushed through the letterbox, no knock at the door, no photo of me holding the package. Opened it obviouslybiggrin It was a couple of smallish photo albums. Checked my purchase history and nothing showing on there and as the name was wrong I assume no-one I know has sent me a gift.

Has the hallmarks of the brushing scam, should I be worried? Or should I wrap up one fo the albums and give my sister a bonus xmas prezzie?

Shame it wasn't something a bit more interesting, rather than photo albums smile

Had the same recently. The label had just come off another parcel onto it. Are you missing any deliveries?

Slightly O/T, I had an expected delivery from one of the well known motoring bookshops; inside was the paperback that I ordered, with the added bonus of a very expensive (£500+) leatherbound collectors item. Two delivery slips had stuck together with mine on top and that for a gentleman in Singapore underneath. I was overcome with honesty and returned it to the shop; I didn't even get a letter an acknowledgement from them and have never bought anything from them since.

No odd labeling on this one, not missing any deliveries either.

If it doesnt have your name on then they didn't have proper details, they just used a random address.

You could check your account but I would assume it has nothing to do with it.

The other option is someone did a real order and got the address details wrong.
