My eldest son works from home and has three lads, 8, 10 and 12.

From his home office, he text his middle son:

He spared his offspring the 'FFS' he added when he sent it to me.

Looks like a decent cuppa. My eldest (soon to be 17) made me one and it was so white I asked if he could grab me a teabag to suck with it.

These kids obviously never do bob-a-job' any more. Taught me how make a wicked cup of tea when I was young.
As well as how to wash cars, clear out gardens and whatever else those lazy fcensoredrs we 'jobbed' for couldn't be bothered doing themselves! thumbup

I like the kids sense of humour.

Who texts someone to do something when you're both in the same damned house? biggrin

Spot on.

Much as I hate children as much as the next person who has none, I'm with the son on that one!

Same here, I'd have done the exact same thing to my dad had it been an option when I was growing up.

Many years ago, late 80’s, we had a 17yr old on day release from college who genuinely didn’t know how to make a cup of tea. He’d been mothered somewhat.

Hopefully the dad knows what to do when the brat/leech asks for a quid or twenty.

The goons got there first.

"Here is a photograph of the secret plans."
"Thank you. Here is a photograph of ten thousand pounds."

I don't wish to know that.
