Not in the UK but still worth a visit
David Monthan Air Force Base, Tucson Arizona. Better known as the desert boneyard where aircraft are stored or broken for spares.

For those unfamiliar with Hodge Close, here is a video which whilst good doesn't really catch its awe inspring nature - I visit regularly, usually when on the MTB, and it still wows me. Must be one of the best holes in the ground in the UK, and all man made:

Pembrokeshire in general
The South Downs - some lovely rural driving roads, views, and great local pubs

Isle of Grain.
I like it there a lot but once made the rather rash decision of walking out to the London Stone which marks the end of the Thames (on the south side). I did it when the tide was (very) out but still nearly got stuck in the mud and did get very messy. It's still a great place though. All of that peninsular is. slopes said:
Cragside House & Gardens - Rothbury
Magnificent NT House....The first house in the UK to be lit by Hydro electricity.Owned by Newcastle tycoon Lord William Armstrong, manufacturer of the huge 100 ton Armstrong guns on Malta and Gibraltar.
Fun fact:- There are still tiny holes in a wall in a passage, where American servicemen billeted there in WW2 were playing darts and missed the board.
York would come high on my list, especially if you know where to go using something like this city walk
https://www.ratedtrips.com/walking/exploring-york
Also the city of London, the square mile around Lloyds and the Bank of England, some of the side streets are unchanged for 200 years.

1. Ulva - island west of Mull, for its scenery and history and a cracking restaurant for lunch.
2. Dinorwig quarry, for the industrial heritage and sheer scale of the place.
3. Most of the mountains on the Isle of Skye, simply for the views and feeling of space (whether Cuillin, Storr or various others)
4. Traigh Mheilein, Harris. Best beach in the UK.
5. Iona, for combination of history and scenery.
6. Kilmartin Glen, for pre-history/early history of Scotland (could also lump in Crinan and Knapdale area for same)
7. Lismore, again great combination of scenery and history
8. Cader Idris
9. Glen Affric
10. Torridon hills
(there's a theme in my choices)
