Haven’t seen this posted anywhere else.

Guy goes to a Coldplay concert with his lady friend who he’s having an affair with and gets filmed …..oops!

https://www.theguardian.com/music/2025/jul/18/coup...

He’s since put out a press release to apologise for getting caught and blaming Coldplay biggrin

That happened to a mate in the 90s. The pub he uses to frequent would film the over the weekend and show the footage the following weekend. You can guess the rest.

The irony is, if they hadn't reacted, it wouldn't have been noticed by anyone outside the concert.

Serves them right for going to a Coldplay concert, nothing good was ever going to come from that bland, smug, self righteous insincere muzak poured into their ears, like putrid lumpy milk hehe

For all their faults, they do put on a cracking show.

I haven't seen them live, and I'm not a general fan of the band, but I agree. Some of the YouTube live versions of 'Viva la Vida and 'Politik', for example, have been some of the most uplifting performances I've seen from any live act.

While everyone has the right to their own opinion, you guys need to take a long hard look in the mirror and work out what went wrong. biggrin

This. If they'd have just waved, then nothing would have happened. But by reacting like they'd been caught doing something naughty, it got everyones attention.

I've been a working musician performing live for thirty years, and I understand this stuff.

It's fashionable to st on Coldplay, but they know how to do a gig.
