Clockwise for me.

I always stir my coffee 'both ways' but that's to help dissolve the sugar biggrin

God no what kind of a monster do you think I am? Some people shouldn't be allowed to drink tea.

My thoughts exactly, we're not animals!

(also I only drink fresh tea, never bags!)

You should never drink it out of a bag, you savage!

Stir? Don't be silly; I dunk the bag in repeatedly. Who needs to dirty cutlery when a bag on a string is sufficient?

I assume you pour the sugar in straight from the bag?

I've no idea, I'll check with my man. Which way should he be stirring it?

Shouldn't even need dunking, the perfect cup of tea can be achieved by letting it diffuse on its own over a period of 3-4 minutes before removing. The only stirring that takes place is after the addition of milk, if one is so inclined.

Got me wondering what anti-clockwise was called before clock dials were invented.

Counter-compunctionalitisionally I shouldn't wonder.

Shaken, not stirred.

Does create a mess though.

They had a much better word before clocks:- Widdershins. Conjures up images of nubile young witches dancing sky-clad around a bonfire. (Or is that just me?).

I used to be a circle stirrer but now I’m a swisher across the centre of the cup as it swishes the tea out of the bag more effectively biggrin

Whatever you do please ignore the above poster . . .
