There's always a great variety of music played whenever I visit my barber. Today I liked it so much I asked what it was. 'Vanilla Radio' apparently, a Greek station.

What does your barber play? Do you like it, loathe it or lump it?

Some local commercial station, mor mosaic plus ads. There was one ad kept coming on while I was waiting, talking about 'antique hunters" but the way it was phrased dropping the aitch made me smirk.

Absolute.

Steve's about my age. His punters are generally Dads like me and their sons.

The music mix on Absolute is ideal and I expect the teen lads find it inoffensively retro.

Seeing as my local barber is from Columbia all the music they play in the shop is Columbian.....

And unsurprisingly, the accompanying videos are always set around a swimming pool or a beach, the dancing latino ladies are quite a distraction!

Mike just has BBC news on all day, no music, thankfully we have now got the car magazines back, the threat of Covid death from printed matter is no longer a risk.

Bizarre thread idea.

I have absolutely no interest in the music another person’s barber plays in his shop. Amazing that others do.

Sky news. The reason behind not having music is that not everyone has the same taste.

Nothing. And no TV either. This is one of the reasons I use the place.

People appear to have forgotten the art/joy of being free from sensory input for a few minutes.

Mostly hip hop and hard rock.

Most definitely not a turkish barbers, more like a bunch of skater lads who fell into barbering.

Nothing, apart from a bit of light barber chat… Just me and Mr Koneshi in his little room…
