I need a recommendation for a septic-tank friendly loo roll. We have always used Tanki which was glue-free and gentle enough on the posterior. However, they have now gone into administration and it is no longer available to buy. I ordered some from Galleon, and while thin, it feels more like something you'd find at a motorway services,

So what are you non-mains sewerage types currently using? What is the gold-standard non-septic tank clogging roll of choice for the discerning arse?

Who Gives A Crap appears to be septic tank friendly. They're good loo rolls too!

This. Septic tank friendly, recycled, cheap, and decent quality.

The worms will munch any bog roll whether it has glue in or not, I have just used lidl's cheap bog roll for the last 12 years and my tank is working perfectly.

It's also made in China. Try Serious Tissue - made in UK, unbleached paper from recycled material and no different in 'feel' to WGAC

We used Andrex for the twenty or so years that we had a septic tank (actually two properties, about ten years each); never had a problem.

This, I was 10 years in my last place with a septic tank, just used Tesco own brand big roll, never any issues

No need for paper, install one of these, much more hygienic.

Mostly China - "After a lot (and we mean A LOT) of thoughtful consideration, we’ve proudly set up the majority of our manufacturing operations in China."

One of these then. Warm water, music, seat warmer, night light, what's not to like biggrin

And having used these in japan they really do make our arrangements look like they belong in the stone age.

I can't believe I'm reading thread about loo paper or how political it's got!

Anywho, we have one of those 'Japanese washlet' seats in our en-suite with a comfort height loo. Total game changer.
