We’ve (ok I have) just driven from England to Germany, so Frau GenX is rustling up some dinner and I’m drinking Grauer Burgunder. Masterchef later then a well-earned sleep.

Probably sat in front of the TV.
There's a Shed & Buried or something recorded, a footie match live, I have a book I'm nearly finished and the "piece of resistance LOL" one or other of the dogs will want a pee and a crap at some inopportune moment. Living the dream...

Oh and it's freezing outside, was 0 degrees when I came home three hours ago.

Writing Christmas cards in front of the log fire with mulled wine. Can finally start thinking about Christmas!

About to eat dinner, before watching some TV and then going to bed I suspect. It is only Tuesday though...

Just been for a walk. The dog decided to stay at home though.

We’ve got no heating at the moment due to an underfloor leak, but the oil radiator she borrowed from work has done a great job of warming the lounge

My wife is making dinner so I’m scrolling through YouTube with my iPad on my lap

Just got back from a week in Vegas. Last week I had FloRida spraying champagne into my mouth. It was like a posh version of Chinese Water torture. The day after I stepped out of the helicopter to get into the limo to a Weezer concert.

Tonight, I will be not doing that. I will be sat watching TV drinking wine.

Had a couple of glasses of Hine.
Trying to figure out why a client can't approve 2 timesheets that were completed the same as 2 previous timesheets which were approved.
Googling removal companies.
Googling compact tractors.
Chatting to friends on WhatsApp.
Listening to Mrs 48k splashing around in the bath.
Waiting to receive instructions to cook dinner.

Rock and roll.

Staying in a lovely National Trust cottage in Devon for two weeks with a roaring log fire overlooking the sea, drinking some Asti Spumante, and reading Tom Hartley's autobiography about how great he is.

According to Tom anyone that stops in bed after 8am is a lazy bd, after 9 a real lazy bd......

I might get up at 9.30 if I feel like it. smokin

Sharing the couch with two dogs whilst a third yips at my feet. Drinking red wine, watching a show about the Caribbean on TV and arguing with the wife about tea duties. Domestic bliss.

Just purchased some christmas alcohol,

This year my hangovers will be mostly apple based as I've bought some apple brandy from Herefordshire, Sassy Brut cider from France as well as a 3cl sample of calvados.

The retailer also chucked in a 5cl miniture of Rémy Martin 1738 Accord Royal and a £5 off voucher for my next order as freebies.

I know nothing of Cognac so I'm curious to try the Rémy Martin.

Sat in a lounge in DXB waiting for a flight home after a week of sun and F1. Looking forward to getting a decent sleep before arriving into Netherlands first thing then driving 3 hours home.
