As per title. Looking for a couple of meters of something soft like a towling material, but non absorbant that'll dry quickly.

Any ideas?

Felt? Originally made to turn wool into something even more waterproof.

I've a 1/2 car cover, secured by straps. Currently I've some microfiber cloths wrapped around the straps to cushion and reduce bodywork chaffing potential. Cloths just get wet and soggy and stay that way, looking for something that sheds water and drys out between showers.

Oh in that case, get an old yoga mat off someone. Easy to cut up and cushioned.

Cut a bike innertube up and tape it on to the straps?

I bought a length of this car cover material: https://www.carscovers.co.uk/CAR-COVER-FABRIC-SOLD...

It's very lightweight compared with my Noah full all-weather cover, but I can just throw it on in the garage
