Looks like its time to get married so I need two wedding rings.
I've decided on platinum but prices differ greatly and is mainly mark up so I'm keen to avoid the high street.
77 Diamonds on the other hand looks decent and far better value for money. Anyone have any experience of them or any better suggestions?

I got ours made 8+ yrs ago by a local independent Jeweller and they were relatively inexpensive compared to the other options at the time and really good to deal with, and supporting a local crafter.
Wifes is platinum to go with her engagement ring
Mine is rose gold because I like the colour.
Simple bands. Nothing fancy.

There's a PH'er who makes bespoke jewellery at modest prices. I've used him and can recommend... I've decided on platinum but prices differ greatly and is mainly mark up so I'm keen to avoid the high street.

I think his PH name is 'ecain' - you'd have to search a bit to find him if that's not quite right.

I went with a local independent jeweller who made what we wanted to put specs for prices much lower than high Street jewelers
Also, consider palladium rather than platinum. We went platinum for wife and palladium for us
Palladium is where it's at. Looks classy and looks as good as the day I put it onAlso, consider palladium rather than platinum. We went platinum for wife and palladium for us

Mine is palladium from a local jeweller, it had a light brushed texture when new but 6 years later it’s smooth. I’m not bothered but it’s something to be aware of. Durrants of London, just off Hatton Garden main street, were good when I spoke to them.
EDIT:
Choice of metal for rings will be entirely a personal decision - Palladium is a good swap for white gold (because lower maintenance) and platinum (because cheaper (IIRC)) but it is lower density and some might prefer the 'heft' of the other metals.

Palladium 12.02
