Nothing if you don't actually want anything .

I've unhelpfully asked for people not to buy me anything. There's really nothing that I need or want.

A bag of apostrophes would be a good start.

It’s not Christmas yet so the questions moot!

We had this conversation at work last week, what you buying the wife/husband etc

After all the "well we set £££limits etc"

Me and MRS400 generally don't bother as if we want something obviously within reason we save or go buy it.

A TVR Griffith.

Now the garage is finished she has green lit the idea.

If anyone else wants to get me anything I'd like some Bilt Hamber car cleaning stuff and a Blaupunkt Frankfurt 82RCM retro look but modern function stereo for it.

If that fails any albums that I like but don't have on vinyl yet.

And my annual request for 2 pairs of new slippers, one for home and one for the ship.

Thank you.

I'm a nightmare to buy for, so I've asked for vouchers from a coral farm for my aquarium, and hopefully the lego technic americas cup yacht.

But I'm happy with anything really, last year she got me 30 pairs of sock, delivered throughout the day one by one, so this whole year every pair has been worn fewer than 20 times.

It's been great. One of life's simple pleasures, nicely 'new' socks every morning.

We don't buy for adults in our family, apart from my mother who likes to buy for everyone, so everyone buys for her too. It usually goes like this..

Mum will ask my wife what I want for Xmas
My wife will then ask me what I want
I buy myself the thing I want
I give it to the wife
Wife gives it to my mum
My mum gives the money to my wife
My wife keeps the money

Nothing yet. From either my wife or parents. Literally can’t think of anything.

Now, I am normally quite late with the whole festive thing, but I just cannot be arsed with it this year…

Ain't that the truth.

I genuinely struggle to think of anything I want or need and it's the same when buying for parents, if they want something in the price range I'd normally spend they'd buy it when they realised they wanted or needed it, same with me.

I enjoy buying for my kids, godkids and nephews etc, I don't need anything.

Yep. Nothing now. We used to when the children were young so we could join in the unwrapping. This year we are hosting everyone as usual. Then, 3rd Jan we’re jetting off to the Canaries for 2 weeks. That’s our present to each other

I have an Amazon wishlist that I’ve shared to people. I add things now and then to it which people occasionally buy for Christmas or my birthday.

Wife's getting a new coat because we're off Ice Driving in Sweden in February. I have asked for a new watch strap.

It's kind of a pointless time as we just get what we want or need regardless.
