So i have sent two tyres via this courier fo around £25 added the measurements and weight 10.6 kg each so i put 12kg and took photos.
Got an email saying they have been delivered but the weight or dimensions are inaccurate and they are now charging me an extra £33 handling fee plus £13 weight increased I just cant believe this as everything I entered was correct, i,m fumming the cost now is more than i sold the tyres for!

Have they actually taken the money or just asked you to pay?
You know the make and model of tyres you sold, easy enough to find out how much they should weigh from the manufacturer?
All depends how much arguing (and small claims court etc) you want to do.
Personally I wouldn't sell heavy low value stuff that has to be shipped.

They actually have a section on their website so it is covered.

Basically because the parcel is large but relatively light they base the weight on the amount of space it takes up.

They are not a courier. They're a reseller. Just like Parcel Monkey, Parcel2Go etc. They will never see your parcel. They sell you the couriers service, manifest the delivery electronically to the courier and the courier does the rest. If the courier decides your parcel exceeds the weight or volume or size limits for the service that has been purchased they charge back to Parcel Hero. PH obviously won't take the loss on the chin so pass charges back up the chain to you.Got an email saying they have been delivered but the weight or dimensions are inaccurate and they are now charging me an extra £33 handling fee plus £13 weight increased I just cant believe this as everything I entered was correct, i,m fumming the cost now is more than i sold the tyres for!
Its one of the downsides of using these resellers - when there is a dispute it's actually between the sender and the courier, the reseller is just piggy in the middle but of course the senders contract is with the reseller (who never sees the parcel and is dealing with one persons word against another).

I regularly send small but heavy parcels from work, do you really think two tyres that weigh the same but take up three times the space should be charged the same as mine?
blue_haddock, It seems you are right . Its my fault for not checking properly. The reason I was thinking no problem as I had just bought two tryes from ebay and the chap sent them to me for £10 how the hell did he do that?, also ebay quoted me £5.88 each but as I said when i took them to the pick up store they would not accept them hence how i got in this mess .
