As the title suggests my ebay has gone a bit odd. My normal search would be something along the lines of Cars, motorcycles & vehicles, then sort by distance nearest first, then filter by price and then happily sit with a brew while browsing stuff for sale. But recently its become a ballache to do this, sorting by nearest first does nothing the first vehicle could be from anywhere except from where I live, I have checked my location settings are correct, logged out and back in, turned computer off and on and no change. Also the box to open filters seems to have disappeared, just a drop down box with only 3 price brackets.
Unless i want to look for a very specific car it seems to have become very awkward to just browse. Has anyone else noticed this?

Edit: seems my postage to..... setting was defaulted back to nothing. Put my postcode in and now 'nearest first' works again.

Has anyone else encountered this, ive recently had a best offer bid accepted from a seller in the USA for $160, yet when i go through to payment, this price has jumped up to $191.

Postage has jumped from 41 to 48

Duties is calculated at checkout and now 16

The seller says that they just see the 160 and arent sure what the extra 31 usd is.

Is my ebay playing up or are they adding the tax or something to the 160 at the purchase price and im just being even more 'thick' than normal?

Ive sold things going the other way and never seemed to have had this issue

No, thats the 41/48 costs

I could understand it on the duty bumping it up etc but not the price.
