Good quality t-shirts

Who sells quality polo neck t-shirts that are made of a decent heavyweight cotton. I don't like the featherlight cotton that most of the more premium brands seem to use.
I'm a big fan of American Giant stuff, their classic hoodie is probably my favourite piece of clothing but despite listing polo's on their website they don't actually have any.
Anything that would be similar and available in the UK? For casual everyday wear that's either unbranded or has a very small logo. Build quality and materials are what matter to me.
Cheers.

After trying lots of brands from CK to Primark to Sunspel, I've settled on Asket. Perfect fit for me, great quality and hold their shape.
They do a lightweight version which is similar to Sunspel weight but the standard is just right for all seasons.

How have you found the sizings? Big/small, tight/baggy, long/short?
I tend to sit between XL and XXL so always struggle to find the right size first time with new places. I don't have a local Uniqlo but relieved some socks for Christmas and thought them excellent so bought a load more online.
I've found sizes to vary from article to article. Their size L t-shirts are good fit for me but I need their XL polo shirts. Best to order both sizes and return the ones that don't fit.I tend to sit between XL and XXL so always struggle to find the right size first time with new places. Community Clothing has nice ones, made in the uk too, if you like that kind of thing.

I'm usually XL or L if I want tight fit. Is that something you've found going up a size?

Carhartt from the workwear range - https://www.misupplies.co.uk/clothing-c12/mens-wor... just make sure you go down a size.
My crew clothing Tees fit well and have outlasted uniqlo.
Uniqlo's dye seems to start going after 3-4 washes and starts looking old, where as the crew clothing is still solid black after 30-40 washes and tumble dries. This goes for both their heavy weight crew neck stuff and the more premium supima. Uniqlo sleeves are also weird and stick out rather than sit flat on the arm, which looks a bit s

I’ve tried a couple of pieces from Community Clothing now and am less than impressed by the quality.https://communityclothing.co.uk/collections/mens-t...
I took a punt on their selvedge denim as they were reasonably priced. The only pair of jeans I’ve ever owned where the rivets fall off.
Shame as I like what they stood for, but I won’t be buying from them again.

They do free exchanges, so if you're buying 3 for free postage, buy different sizes and exchange the ones that don't fit.
I just got my third set of 3.

Abercrombie and Fitch for me.
It's a personal thing, but the material is good and the sizing is actually what it says on the tin.
Are their shops still like walking into a dark cave? Never understood why they thought people want to look at clothes in the dark. It's a personal thing, but the material is good and the sizing is actually what it says on the tin.
There's very few A&F stores in the UK - only London and Manchester IINM.
