The CD/tracklist that matches your car?
Discussion
So I grabbed 24 hours away this week by myself, drove from Herts down to south coast.
The car well...
As I drove up the drive stuck T Rex greatest hits on, oh yeah baby open your ears here...

I had never put T Rex on in this car but it felt a perfect synergy. Both a bit old fashioned cheesy but ultimately awesomely perfect, felt a million dollars.
What sounds match your car, anyone have an old Pinto and play firestarter?

For people under 70, T-Rex were a beat combo from the last century.
Cant usually abide Pink Floyd but there is one track I like, I can't remember the title.
I vividly remember queuing at a venue in Oxford with mates in the freezing cold late November 1968 to see 'Tyrannosaurus Rex' (which is what T-Rex were called before they shortened it in 1970).Cant usually abide Pink Floyd but there is one track I like, I can't remember the title.
A guy came out and announced they were very sorry, but Tyrannosaurus Rex had not been able to make it. He said another group would be taking their place. Lots of pissed-off Rex fans left and headed for the pubs but we decided to hang around. We were then informed a new band from Wales would be taking the place of Rex, called 'Love Sculpture'.
F hell! They were absolutely brilliant!
Especially when lead guitarist, one Dave Edmunds, said 'this is our new single, it's called 'Sabre Dance'.
It charted almost immediately on 3 Dec and stayed in the charts until March, peaking at No. 5.
It's fast, bit like the cars I like!
Claim to fame dept. ……..
Some time in 1970 the Welsh rock band I was playing in recorded some stuff in a studio in Monmouthshire. I was sitting on the floor leaning up against the wall when Dave Edmunds came in and sat down beside me. We chatted for a while and he tried to blag a ‘smoke’, but I didn’t have anything for him. So he buggered off again.
I think Love Sculpture were in the adjoining studio recording I Hear You Knocking. I don’t even know what happened to our tapes.
