Realising you can't now quote anyone else without having to go through a long, convoluted process because the previous thread just got closed! hehe

"Side Hustle"

Usually some bullst story about someone making £10k a month selling crap.

We actually sacked someone a while back for having a side hustle that was taking up their time during the day. Moron.

My Granny used to use Copy & Paste. Does that not work, or is it not allowed?

Quite easy with a PC double screens and a mouse. Assume its a pain in the bum to do so on a phone.

It's a tad more awkward on a phone but only because the quote icons don't work on the old closed thread. But it's not beyond my wit to figure it out, and my slow pace at typing and scrolling on phone or laptop is infuriating to my millennial daughter. It appears to be something that to keep the post on topic "annoys her beyond reason."

From the other side of the coin something that annoys me beyond reason with her use of tech is when the TV sound is drowned out by her pissing herself laughing at some TikTok video of a golden retriever doing something daft and then expects me to enjoy it too by holding up her phone for me to watch from about 15 foot distance.

I only access PH on a PC so I think I understand your difficulty.

Two in one here.

Touchscreens in cars, fingerprints all over the place making the car look dirty even if it's not.

Also... Loading my profile? For what?! It's a fking car! No matter what key or profile you select, the radio/ media and the air con is exactly the same as when you last used the car. No difference. And as you can't personalise things like turning lane assist off with each profile it's totally pointless.

That's right, a Tiguan. Great car to be used as a tool but a couple of little niggling bits that annoy me like this and various alarms for stuff.

In my XC60 the profiles were linked to the keys. The most useful thing it saved was the position of the driver's seat, the steering wheel and the wing mirrors. It also saved a bunch of other settings, but as I was the only driver it only really meant I could give the second key to the garage when it went on for servicing and not be bothered about them moving the seat! smile

That there is no longer a "Watch" or "bookmark" option for this thread, so now I have to make a pointless post to get it on my topics list.
So apologies for having to read this pointless post

I also thought that the 'Watch' button was missing, but it appeared as soon as I logged in.

The age demographics on PH. It is becoming more white knightish with some members who have zero sense of humour/just don't get it. People are so offended if you have a little dig at them and cry to the mods. I bet they also have dashcams and report people for being naughty.

I hate the misuse of pronouns. This says that it was the customer service assistant who was sent to prison.

Morons at work asking for an ice-breaker from everyone in the meeting about what they did at the weekend and asking a second time after being told no.

fk off, the weekend is mine and is none of your business! All you have done is wasted everyone's time by making the meeting longer than it needed to be by padding it with st that no-one cares about.

Now add on the PH swear filter for changing F to f

I hate them. Sometimes after the fourth or fifth one I will just walk holding a hand out in front of my face.
