Betfair exchange won't ban you but in the long run only the bookies win in the vast majority of cases.
The exception is matched betting which isn't really betting. Even then the bookies will ban you from promotions and stake restrict you very quickly if you win too much (or more accurately give them too low a margin). I managed about £4k from bookies in about 3 months off an initial £50 before I was banned from too many places for it to be effective.

*should be two images. Basically made 10% in 4 weeks. Mostly football and cricket. At what point does Betfair ban me?
Are you using the exchange? If so they don't ban you. The problem is that once you make over a certain amount, they apply a Betfair premium so you need to work out if you're profitable enough in the long run: https://caanberry.com/betfair-premium-charge-how-i...I had a system that was giving me on average 10-20% profit. My calculations meant their premium charge would have pretty much made it pointless for me to bother because I'd have to put in the hours to grind to make maybe £10 for a day.
I did try to increase my overall profit but the risk was a lot higher meaning that I was likely to lose more from just betting anyway. On the plus side, I wouldn't have to pay the premium charge.

These premium thresholds.. are they per year or total profit?I had a system that was giving me on average 10-20% profit. My calculations meant their premium charge would have pretty much made it pointless for me to bother because I'd have to put in the hours to grind to make maybe £10 for a day.

Same here. Made good money for a few months and then the bookies catch on and you're not made very welcome! Nice while it lasts though - without tons of effort. It's only something like £1k so I would ignore it if you're serious about making money. If you're doing it for fun and a bit of extra beer money then crack on.
Yes but is that per year? Or your total profit since you opened the account?Gassing Station | The Lounge | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
