Given that many on here seem to be slightly grumpy old men (full of rose-tinted nostalgia) there must be plenty of things that wind you up (or it it just me?)

What petty, small law would you introduce (save the big stuff for NP&E).

A little irritation for me is that when you order a coffee with milk today, you don’t always get milk (ie normal, full fat, milk) but often get given semi skilled or skimmed by default. It is annoying to have ask every time to check (even more annoying if you find that they oat milk or soy milk but not actual milk!)

Petty law No 1 would be to force coffee shops to have a clearly visible sign stating the default milk (and No 2 would be to ensure that normal milk is always an available option!)

Can you get more petty? I challenge you!

I'd make sure that they have a sign that says "you can have a nice cup of tea if you want one"

I would have drones patrolling the streets.

Spitting? Tasered by drone
Littering? Tasered by drone
Don’t clean up dog poo? Tasered by drone

Parking on a pavement so you don't get your wing mirrors clipped.

Ok for the pedestrian to walk in the road then is it?

A good birching for that.

Any supercar parked on double yellows - 6 months hard labour.

(I am happy to be the arbiter of what defines a supercar - can do that remotely via email)

If a suspect goes "no comment" in interviews and is eventually found guilty of the offence, they should have no right to appeal.

Using less, when fewer is correct, should be punishable by being placed in the stocks for a day.

Big fan of stocks, and not just for a day as an alternative to prison. Put them in a public square, wrists and ankles locked in place, leave them for a week at least. Even turn it into a TV show to see who can throw tomatoes and eggs and hit them in the face.

You could have pi55ing contests, see who could stream on the villain from the furthest away, or pooping, who could poop from the highest point and still hit the crim.

Full revocation of elevator access rights if you just stop at the bottom of one whilst deciding which direction to walk in.

If you don't have an allocated parking space or off road parking you are unable to own a car.
