Are you any good at Art?

I need an artist to come and paint a nice weather proof picture/mural on a boring section of my back garden brick wall in Hull.
This is a paid commission and you can choose to be paid in cash, alcohol, pasties etc. Price/pasties/pints negotiable..

There will be a grey circle of painted brick bounded by a strange mirror feature my lovely neighbours have kindly donated to my garden rejuvenation project. (They wanted rid, I grabbed it LOL)

The blank canvas for the budding artist is the grey circle about 1.5m in diameter as you can see in the photo.

I'm thinking Sci-Fi Themed to blend in with my 'Robbie' the Robot metalwork masterpiece (Currently on loan from Tate Modern!) who could lurk menacingly in front of your imaginative creation.

Is it a swirling wormhole, a portal to another dimension, a group of Robots like 'Robbie' approaching from the other side of the Stargate, The Fighting Temeraire or cute kittens in a Top hat.

Let your creativity flow and astound me with your incredible artistic ideas.. I'm not averse to quirky or left field ideas.
Anyway if you have any leads on who might be up for this please post them below. Feel free to share the post.

Please post sketches/ideas/photoshop creations..

Thanks.

How is it council if no one can see it?

Sounds good to me - OP try your local art college as well - someone might like the opportunity.

Lighten up man.

Ah thanks for the shout-out!

Certainly something I could do, but being based in London, the petrol alone might be a bit OTT boxedin

Couple more examples anyway..

Not necessarily related, but are you able to get the mirror to join properly at the the top? I'm guessing that was just a mock-up situation?

That aside, very cool idea, I love it.

What about something Stargate inspired?

Wait! Mash up of Stargate and Back To The Future, with the Delorean (complete with flames) within the Stargate itself?

Along the lines of -

Although, I'd have Delorean incoming, rather than outgoing.

Thanks for the ideas..

I have a lady coming to do a stargate/robot invasion type thing on Sunday!

Yes the mirrors join etc that's was just a mock up so she can paint then the mirrors will be attached to the wall.

Love those. What would something like that cost on an internal house wall?

I doubt I would ever get it past the wife, but I can dream smile

I have this in one of my spare rooms, painted by https://www.muralsbysarah.co.uk/home earlier this year. She's in Swindon so a bit of a way from Hull.
