Pipe carriers for vans
Discussion
My mate is having a rough time in general, latest is driving his van into a barrier and ripping his pipe carriers off the roof.
He’s gonna struggle to get it sorted quickly so I’m gonna get him a couple of xmas gifts early
Can anyone recommend the best pipe carriers that mount on the roof
Many thanks

Many thanks all, appreciate it
I'm a sparky (no, really?) and have a Rhino tube for 3m lengths of conduit and trunking. Swear by it.
There's not really anything else comparable - you can get cheaper imitations, but they're just that. Nowhere near as good.
I scoured Gumtree and waited until one came up, and paid just £30 for it complete with two keys.
Just keep an eye on Gumtree/eBay/Facebook Marketplace/whatever and one will come up if you don't fancy paying whatever they cost new.
It's a fantastic bit of kit, and that's a really nice gesture on your part. I'm sure he'll appreciate it.

Don’t you find the conduit / trunking gets dirty when in the pipe tube? Or maybe because I hardly ever use mine but if I stick any in there and go to get a while later it’s all black and won’t clean up. Just looked at them online and found they now do one with a pvc liner which would stop this.

Black conduit doesn't! All joking aside, yeah the white stuff can get a little dirty, but a rub down with a Big Wipe always seems to work fine. Mine is choca, so the inner ones always stay pretty clean.
You can get lined ones, but when I found mine, I figured for thirty quid, I'd get what I could and not be too choosy!

Yeah it definitely would, but they do seem to clean up anyway with a wipe down. Problem is probably exacerbated if you don't keep much in there - mine is fairly full, so by definition, most pieces of conduit/trunking seem protected from the elements. Spare tyre said:
