Show us your new shoelaces

In the best tradition of these hallowed pages, I thought it was about time somebody made a contribution on behalf of the slightly impecunious PistonHeader who has fallen onto less financially favourable times in the current straightened economic climate, but still appreciates the finer things in life.
After a lengthy search over the course of a good few weeks, I found these beauties irresistible and just about affordable.
I just had to share my good fortune with you, my fellow enthusiasts.
Here is a photo:

I simply cannot wait to get all laced up and take them out for a good run to see how they handle.
Yes, these artisanal laces will definitely be enjoyed as their makers intended, and not just consigned to the haberdashery oddments drawer of the sideboard in the drawing room.
Please share pics and details of your latest acquisitions or even your old favourites for us all to enjoy.
Over to you!

Bold colour choice. I'm supprised the dealer didn't talk you out of it.
What's the monthly?
Thanks, I wanted them to match the colour of my ideal TVR and eye shadow. What's the monthly?

It was a great deal*:
£50 down and £50 a week for 50 years, with a comprehensive maintenance care plan and a lifetime warranty.
In the event of a breakage or failure, they despatch one of their highly skilled teams to come and garotte you within 24 hours.
* For them.

If you didn't buy them outright, you can't afford them.

Will they get much foot time? Plans for any track work?

If you have to ask then you can't afford!
I wouldn't be able to afford their shoelaces either.
I let the laces on my brogues get into such a state that Mrs PB clocked them and took it upon herself to purchase some when she was in Mountain Warehouse.
They're thick enough that I worried they may not be compatible, but I did manage to fit them.
Now though I have dark brown laces over light brown brogues. I doubt this was even an option on the configurator, so I'm concerned this will knock their value if I ever need to move them on. Though I do expect to run them into the ground, tbf.

All key indicators for one to whom "wealth whispers" applies, as they say around these parts. I embrace my split aglets.
