Last year, the 'Tools you wish you'd bought sooner' thread introduced me to the Wera advent calendar -

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Wera-Advent-Calendar-2022...

which was excellent. I've ordered this years' Wera Calendar off the back of that, only to have someone mention the Cult pens advent calendar -

https://www.cultpens.com/i/q/CU99096/cult-pens-jap...

Which also appeals greatly.

What advent calenders would you recommend for yourself, or for kids, that people may not have heard of?

If you like port then I’d recommend either

Or the cheaper alternative

I'm not a huge fan of port, but I'm very tempted by the sampler set. I think the shipping would kill it for me, alas.

Or to keep the Mrs happy you could purchase a Dior advent, but be warned it’s only for those with deep pockets (£470!!!)

coffee

Was just looking at options for the wife.

Lush do one, but at £185 it's a bit pricey, although they are "full size" products.

Bodyshop also do one which at £55 is more palatable but they're only testers/minis. But I think that's okay because with 24 different products you can't like them all?

However, I have ordered one of these instead. She's very partial to a cider and I can see us sharing it, half each every day.

I've bought a couple for my two goddaughters (13yo and 17yo). They're both into their make-up and skincare stuff.

A Sephora for the eldest

and a Kiehl for the younger one.
