So I've just signed up for this, bit spur of the moment really. Didn't know anything about it until going on their website today.

Is anyone else in it or won anything? I won't miss the tenner a month it costs and hopefully will see something back...I won't hold my breath!

I signed up a couple of weeks ago and I've not won anything yet. I like the idea that there are draws (of differing sizes) every day. Also, I'm losing interest in the National Lottery as well so this seems like an good alternative.

4 x £10 and my old dear has won 2 or 3 x £10. Both over the last 2 years.

My local postcode came up recently, My work unit landlord won 19k as well as 2 others I know getting the same amount.
I also went to look at a job for the jackpot winner (220k) recently.

Keep an eye out for a gold envelope in the post!

Anecdotally, there do seem to be far more small-prize winners than standard Lotto. Pretty much everyone I know who does it has had at least one small win in the past couple years.

So everyone you know who plays it has been losing money on it for the last couple of years, you don't work in sales do you? laugh

Lol. All lotteries are, err, a lottery. It seems, anecdotally, with the Postcode Lottery, you lose a bit less than normal Lotto. But, of course, you cannot win so big. Euromillions is at ~£90m this week and it def has my name on it thumbup

I've found a few cracking forums about the Post Code lottery where most people are convinced that it's a scam. They have come to that conclusion because they have never won. Therefore, in their brains it's fixed. Hmm, if you say so.

Bumping this old thread.

Does anyone still play the Postcode Lottery? Any wins over £10?

no, but my mate's mum won £25,000 on it. She treated herself to a 5 year old Ford Focus to replace her aging Toyota Yaris and put the rest away for her grandchildren. Which is nice.

I was thinking of signing up but going by the responses on here I don't think I'll bother and keep topping up my NS&I account instead (won £1,000 a few years back and a few £25's since).
