You can't please all of the people all of the time....

If it is re-merged you will have people moaning again that the motoring threads are not replied to because all the drivel gets in the way....

I can't see whats wrong with adding the forums you want to read to your favourites and then use the whats new facility... it then looks like one forum anyway...

Just being here I assume make it bias towards the people who prefer the P&P, as they will be looking in here as opposed to people who dont like it who may miss the poll...

with the seemingly huge obsession for trawling ebay for the biggest pile of crap that can be found ,just so it can be posted and ridiculed over and over,i think it would go down a storm

Dont give bogbrush his own forum! Ted doesnt have enough server space to fill up the ramblings of that dude! Dont think the internet has enough server space once he gets going....

IMO it's a good idea - threads disappeared way too fast in the old GG, to the point where you'd have to dig around in your contributions list to keep up with a debate, rather than just be able to find it on the page.

Also, sometimes I was a bit hesitant to put something in that had nothing at all to do with cars.

Now, GG is like a chat at a car show, and P&P is like, err, a pub.
