That sentence could've been very different with the omission of one word.

Strange day today, I got my bike sorted out but while I was there I could feel a headache coming on, I got worse so I had 3 pint glasses of Water, 2 Soluble Anadin Extra and put myself to bed for a few hours.

Still here a bit but its Friday and there's beer to be drunk and Morgan Spice to be sipped.

Another in the rough tough Northern armour.

Thanks for the welcome, Bobbers. I'll endeavour to drop in more regularly. Life's been very busy indeed. A lot of you will no doubt remember when my youngest came along. He turned 2 in March!! And I've got another one due next month. Then I'm done. Chop chop.

Is anybody else awake?

Just me, then? Ok. This morning, as is my custom, I decided to be in Lymington, for a wander around the marrket, and to enjoy the general ambience. All domestic chores were ticked off yesterday, got up esrly, and looked outside. The weather people had promised some showers overnight, but no precipitation during the day.

Well, a mere glance outside reveals precipitation aplenty, accompanied by many winds. So my efforts to get up early and have a morning driving through the New Forest and ambling pleasantly around have been replaced by sitting indoors and watching rain..

I'm sure that it will clear up later, but by then I'll probably be watching F1/F2 and F3 from Silverstone.

It isn't easy being me. Somebody has to do it, I suppose.

Morneve All coffee

What awful weather! Awakened overnight by the thunder. School fayre is going to be a washout frown Will send in a cash donation on Monday if we don’t go.

I’ll be working all day and tomorrow. Scared to turn on my work phone to see how the data import went overnight, but must soon!

Sounds like a lovely day, Do’L. I wish our local market was worthy of a weekly meander! Sadly, it’s more imported foods than local artisan. Shame, as there’s so much good food grown and cooked freely around here!

Morning all,

At Parkrun, precipitation will potentially plummet.

I've a gutter to fix, but that will be far easier to sort when it's dry.

I did a swim-run race simulation last night. I wore a hat in the the pool, so was genuinely wetter after my run than after my swim!

Good luck! biggrin

Good morrow fellow Trivialities everywherewavey
It appears that the rain has temporarily stopped as I can see occasional brightness, it does sound very windy out there though!!

Off to dad's flat shortly, hopefully for the last time, 4 items of furniture to remove and then clean the flat, as treat we're stopping at Gregg's on the way for a bacon roll each!!

The demise of the local Saturday market is a sad thing, used to go with my mum about once a month to the market in Kingsland in Southampton.

Re - th "chop", have a friend from 47S who sssstutterers. When he went for th chop, th horspiddle staff thort he was such a nervous wreck they gave him a general A, instead of a local (as per normal),. When he came to, he was feeling no pain or discomfort, & ignoring all advice to take it easy etc, he went to th office ( pub) . Had his normal ev'ning of a few pints, showed interested parties th stitches & spent several days regretting th over-exertions.
Morneve y'all.

Will oor new AB's coach show yor team 'ow to win a game of ruggers, this ev'ning?
