Yesterday afternoon was the first time in weeks (well back into May) that it felt like a genuinely pleasant British summers day.

And it still rained for a couple of hours.
Didn't get any rain at our house in West Berks, but the air didn't feel cold. I think I burned the top of my head.

Can you smell that?

Smells like summer...
Smells like something, not sure it's summer.

Today was an improvement though.

Was on a night shift last night, so took my bike and took my break at 0430 so I could ride to St Catherines Hill in Winchester for the solstice sunrise. Was awesome, and the weather actually played ball for a change!

Cracking shots.

Walberswick beach, this morning.

Dog for scale.
I was at a funeral in Suffolk yesterday, Ship Inn Levington for the wake. Nice part of the world.

Nothing for scale, poor photography skills. 0/10.

It’s a lovely day to be in work, in a clean room, with few windows ??
I think the out-of-focus boat is providing scale?

Hello from Bangkok. Yesterday was 38 and hazy. Today we had a super cell bubble up over us and now heading to 36 and sunny...

Humidity off the scale

Hello from Chiang Mai in Thailand. After Bangkok it's a mere 33 degrees and lower humidity. You can actually sit outside hehe

Caught some rain in Thailand today. Had to dive in to a bar for a Singha. Temp dropped to 27. Shocking.

34 degrees in Thailand today. Occasional showers (one every 3 days or so) - not a bad start to the rainy season for us.

Just on a transfer from Ao Nang to get the ferry to our next resort. We have a villa with a private beach and pool. Off season and mates rates means we're paying less than for a hotel room in London for 2.
