Saw a Zafira with the St George's crosses hanging from the window, and a personal plate ## EDL. I suspect they weren't his initials.

Audi A3

Assuming all the Vectras, Mk 4 Golfs, Zafiras etc are mostly dead.

True council is also white Range Rover sport or X5 etc. Remember, council is not being poor it’s the lack of giving a toss about those around you.

Usually combined with Turkey teeth, Stone Island jumpers, 4D number plates, lion hand tattoos, vapes. The list goes on.

Yep every time i see an Audi or a BMW, somewhere like at the kids football, I have a bit of a stereotype going round in my head. Unless it's something like a 328i in blue with tan and no tints.

And I'm sure they think the same of me in either the doublecab or the Kia minibus filled with shoes, sweet wrappers, crayons, etc.

Eta the doublecab is white with beacons and does get used for work

I was thinking about this yesterday whilst sat in traffic on a sunny day. Blasting music with windows down used to be a council/boy racer staple.

Not sure where you are but I never see that anymore. More likely to see a car draped in Palestine flags blasting that god-awful atonal middle-east music.

I was wondering why it disappeared? Young lads just generally disinterested in music these days maybe? More into the exhaust note?.. Or maybe more cars have air-con now so no need to have the windows down.

It didn't used to be difficult to fit a better stereo and amps into your car, with th elevel of integrated systems now it is a much more difficult and expensive prospect.

Doesn't matter. The zafira and Vectra get a lifetime pass. Until the last one is turned in to bean cans (and then they will just live on in council history like neck tattoos and dirt bikes) they will forever be the epitome of council.

I saw a couple, probably in their mid thirties in a white Zafira, both wearing Ingerlund wendyball tops and flags on the car. I couldn't see if they had Kayden and Pinot on the back seat dressed the same which was a shame. It did make me guffaw as they drove by.

You know, this one is so true. A shame, as I was always quite fond of them. Sadly, they're only driven by tools nowadays. Our local drug dealer with his oversized dog drives one. Complete with M grill colours, mismatched alloys and tints all round including the lights.
