Mum’s anger at paddling pool and wedding reception being banned from communal yard in Silverweed Road, Walderslade

They’d have turned a blind eye / been to late to do anything about the wedding reception if she’d not had the pool

We have a couple of blocks of flats here, the pools from last year are still in the ground deflated full of slime

They will be dragged to the bushes around July time to be replaced by this years replacement

Absolutely. It's too far down the slippery slope to ever redeem our place in the civilized world.
Racists. Nothing wrong with roasting a labrador over a spit in the road.
Apple or mint sauce?
Asphalt by the looks of things.
I love the fusion of patio furniture and wheelie bins all in the same setting. Who said multiculturalism had nothing to give?
I’m probably due a whooooosh parrot but….this isn’t real, right?

Photoshop?
Yes, definitely Shopped.

The door mirror gives it away, that and as I said, it looks like something by Cold War Steve.

Looking at a different perspective, that mirror could be reflecting a line of parked cars ending.

I would say, 'plausible'.

Just because the ‘real world rental “value”’ is some ludicrous amount doesn’t really mean anything.

I’m really not the kind of person you’re describing. My take on it is. Don’t hate the player, hate the game’. But regardless, they’re still parasites.
Given they are providing a home in exchange for rent then they can’t be parasites.

A parasite only takes from its host, it gives nothing back in return.
Not true - a parasite's main aim is to keep the host healthy to the point where it is a useful food source, keeping other diseases at bay and sometimes offering an advantage to the host. The host dying can also mean the death of the parasite.

If both benefit then the term is symbiosis. If only one dies then it’s parasitism.

I did wonder, but the perspective is all out and the gap between cars and mirror looks wrong

The fire/embers don’t look retained by anything. Gust of wind would have the charcoal all over the street.

follow the line of cobbles that delineate the parking area - not present in the mirror...
