Of course, humidity level is the biggest part and it is very different lounging by the pool/beach or trying to do normal life.
Its 100% the humidity, 35 or even 40 degrees in the Australian outback is a totally different form of heat to 30 degrees in Asia. One is like being in a hair-dryer, the other like being in a sauna with clothes on.

Nothing but blue sky in Surbiton. Laptop sitting on ice blocks to stop from overheating, it was very warm trying to sleep last night, but I'm bloody loving it. Only issue now is resisting the urge to hit the rosé early week!

Local weather chap is saying we’re the warmest place in UK (Aboyne) today citing met office data.

We’ll see later, but it’s bouncing off 29 degs in the shade right now. Lush!

Scorchio yesterday for sure... warm night, and now back to grey and light drizzle...

Southwold beach this morning. Another glorious day ahead.

Today is 'Sort the flipping garage out once and for all' day.

Nothing for scale, poor photography skills. 0/10.

It’s a lovely day to be in work, in a clean room, with few windows 🥲

I think the out-of-focus boat is providing scale?

Surely that UFO just above the boat provides scale wink

For once my stars have aligned. Returned from Spain last Tuesday and been down in Hampshire since weekend where the weather has been pretty much a continuation of that in Spain.

The difference a day makes.

Temps half of what they were yesterday. Just about got 15 degs.

It's also different when it's overcast compared to today, with a clear blue sky and no escape from the sun. Ambient temp may be 36c, but the direct sunlight with a mile less atmosphere to shield you can be oppressive.
I've been outside when it's been 20c and worn a down jacket because of the cold wind. Equally I've been outside when it's 20c in shorts and a t-shirt, dripping with sweat as the sun bakes the back yard with no breeze to take the edge off.

God it's warm. I also played myself today, at work this morning I parked in a shady corner thinking it'll be shady the whole day only for that corner to then be in the blazing sun the rest of the day. Thank god the Mustang and it's cooled seats! Had the A/C blasting ice cold on the way home from work.

Very humid. Thank god for AC.

It's been largely overcast in S Yorks today. Can't ever remember it being 27 degrees with virtually no sun here before.

Although the sun's out now, hopefully the humidity will drop a bit.

I saw 105f / 30.5c in the car today.
I'd also left a half full can of coke inside it for the day. I could hold the can for about five seconds before having to put it back down again, it was so hot.
