Very pleasant 28C and a day on the lake with a gentle breeze , fairly sure we're in for a thunderstorm later though .

Probably the warmest day of the year here? Perfect timing as we spent all night in A&E (all fine) so ended up sleeping most of the day and missed it. Pants.
One forecast going to 26 here tomorrow which is fairly getting up there for Aberdeenshire. Plenty of clegs (horse flies?) on the go today, hoping the dragonflies emerge soon as they almost solve the problem overnight.

Looks about right to me, it's on the East coast, but on a bit that runs NW to SE and the sun would be NNW, about right for last thing before it sets

Local weather chap is saying we’re the warmest place in UK (Aboyne) today citing met office data.

We’ll see later, but it’s bouncing off 29 degs in the shade right now. Lush!

Correct, taken around 2130 last night. Looking straight out to sea is a few degrees off due north

Warm but very cloudy in the Thames Valley today. Which is fine. Suspect will get horribler tomorrow with sun and heat and stuff.

Ideal day in West Berks. In spite of being in training all day I’ve been outside as much as I can.

So the official numbers had us at 3rd hottest place in UK today, with only heathrow & Northolt hotter by only 0.3 deg.

But we were also fourth coldest in UK this morning smile

I do love the climate here on upper Deeside, the swings in temps / conditions can really be quite large.

It hit 101f/38c when I was in the car. Nothing compared to Saudi, or India thankfully.

Anything above 30c and you really start to limit your time outside.

Personally I don't mind that ^^
My rule of thumb is anything above body temperature gets a bit much.

Of course, humidity level is the biggest part and it is very different lounging by the pool/beach or trying to do normal life.

Here in South Glos it looks like it's going to be a sunny warm one - after a slightly disappointing grey day yesterday
