Sitting working from the garden in the sun from 9am, it finally feels like summer today. Off to Italy on Thursday, of course sod's law the nice UK weather comes when I'm going away! But oh well, I'll take this improvement all day long.

Sunny here and just a handful of clouds. Forecast for the rest of the week looks decent. I say decent, 21c which doesn't seem that exciting for the end of June, but I'll take it over the 17c and raining we had last week.

Didn't get any rain at our house in West Berks, but the air didn't feel cold. I think I burned the top of my head.
We managed a BBQ and nobody had to take evasive action against the rain. I needed sun cream, and there were a few warm looking faces

Smells like something, not sure it's summer.

Today was an improvement though.

It's been rather pleasant today, one of the first days in a while I haven't bothered to unpack my hoody at work.

Was on a night shift last night, so took my bike and took my break at 0430 so I could ride to St Catherines Hill in Winchester for the solstice sunrise. Was awesome, and the weather actually played ball for a change!

Same here north of Winchester, it’s warm!!

I’m not unhappy about it at all, in fact I love it. But it’s a bit of a shock to the system, even having spent two weeks in Italy.

Reading 23 degrees on the thermometer in the shade today. Went outside at lunch to do 1/2hr pilates on the patio, felt far too cold in a t-shirt, turned round and went back inside. Definitely not a warm day for us.

But I did enjoy the evening walk still in ‘daylight’ at 11pm.

Glorious weather. Sat in the garden with some meze for lunch. Hummus, homemade flatbread, olives. Baking in the sun. Could be on the Med.

Just waiting for the death knell (MS Teams call audio) to sound and ruin my fun.
