Gotta say I'm enormously happy with this weather (Berkshire). Strolled around the local park with the dog yesterday afternoon thinking it was pretty much perfect.

Suffolk, last night.

This morning, cold and rain.
Suffolk resident also. Almost sideways rain this morning, wind like a winter storm and I can see from the thermostat that if the internal temp doesn't rise then the heating will be kicking in later this afternoon.

Poor show for June.

Went for a walk with my wife yesterday eve. Winter coat (ski jacket type thing) and gloves on!

Beautiful light though.

I agree that it's not as warm as it should be but what is it with this constant breeze/wind? Anything lightweight on tables, walls, etc needs to be put on the floor otherwise it blows off.

I know the BBC isn't the last word on forecasting by any means, but the fact that their long range forecast now passes the summer solstice and still not showing anything settled or hot (vaguely warm at best) is really getting me down. Mid june and my doors and windows are all shut, I'm juggling work with trying to keep my 1.5 year old entertained stuck in the house......she should be roaming around the garden playing with water and garden toys. Maybe I should start thinking about how I'll make Christmas amazing.

Woodstove lit last couple of days. Can’t wait for the ‘hottest ever June recorded’ bks in the papers in a few weeks.

I don't hold much faith in the reporting from the Lancashire Post, but.....

Just had a Teams call with a contact in Croatia. She was sat on a balcony overlooking the Dalmatian Coast and it looked just so beautiful.

People can fall out irked

Thank fk we're avoiding that horror.

I think I remember putting my above ground pool up in the garden for that little burst of heat, then it sitting there consuming chemicals and electricity to the pump until the weather rendered its use necessary again in late July.

Haha, just checked and yes - I did a walk up at High Peak near Buxton on this afternoon last year.....23 degrees recorded, 11 warmer than this afternoon.

Don’t know what part of the country you’re all in but I’ve been in shorts for over a month in Plymouth. Having to water the allotment every night, BBQed every week, apart from a slightly stiff breeze occasionally it’s been quite pleasant
Similar here in the Purbecks, but I think we've been lucky.
I fked it.

Pissing it down this morning in Plymouth…

Been ok all day, but rain alarm has just pinged and I suspect MiniBill's cricket match this evening is about to be called off...

Heater on in my office and log burner fired up this evening… a bit like March.

Pretty nice here in Gran Sasso National Park, Italy. Same latitude as Rome, so about halfway down.

Not super warm, mid to high 20s each day, just right. I do get the feeling that even they aren’t escaping the weird weather, it might even dip into single figures overnight later in the week.
