I have a feeling "at least it's not raining" is probably going to be the best I/we get for most of this summer frown

If the wind would just swing round to the South a little bit, it'd be lovely. As it is, it's constantly bloody chilly!

I said this to my mum when she said how chilly it was. I’ll take it honestly, dry and a jumper on could be worse.

A 1 minute Hailstones / sleet shower in Aboyne.

Just read that this is down to unusual cloud cover retaining heat during the nights. The days haven't counted towards it all that much.

I normally go to bed a couple of hours before dawn, and keep the windows open to let my fumes out. I did not notice any warm nights.

None.

Absolutely soaked in a haily downpour yesterday at Cruden Bay, proper squall. Today shall we say rather fresh, but sunny and slowly warming to 14C so far… but the local farmers market cancelled because of the wind forecast…

Our market was also cancelled because of winds (assume it’s not the same one to you?) and was looking forward to walking down the hill today and getting some supplies. Trees are looking a little horriblezontable this morning, though it’s now quite warm in the direct sun.

Someone will be around shortly to tell you this is normal for June, because it's the UK. Therefore we must suffer with cold weather.

Another weekend passes with the patio furniture and BBQ covers not coming off. Sigh.

I've been (gas) BBQing since early May. So what if you have to put a jumper on?! Food tastes the same.

Unsettled? So rain? Is it going to be this bloody cold though?

Was umpiring the U11s game earlier in short-sleeved shirt and was sodding frozen. Back in joggers and hoody now and frighteningly close to putting the heating on.

Now way is this normal for June. This is Autumn weather.

Don’t know what part of the country you’re all in but I’ve been in shorts for over a month in Plymouth. Having to water the allotment every night, BBQed every week, apart from a slightly stiff breeze occasionally it’s been quite pleasant
