The colin_p appreciation summer sun and storm thread 2024
Discussion
Spent a bit of time in the sun yesterday (20 mins in the garden max and a bit of time sat in the car with a door open while doing some diag work and my right arm has erupted with an itcy red rash. I've been getting it for a few years now and keep forgetting that I have what I believe to be undiagnosed Polymorphic Light Eruption - https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/polymorphic-light-er...
Typical that I am allergic to sunlight.

Forecast suggesting nothing above 19 for the forseeable in Surbiton. So yesterday was a serious blip then.

I preferred global warming rather than climate change https://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/articles/c722zjvj1zq...

Sunday was a beautiful June day.
Dew on the grass & a warming sun after so many grey windy & cold days in May.
It was so good that the bloke over the river fired up his 2 stroke strimmer ay 9am & kept going for 2 hours.
Perfectly finished off by me with 21/2 hours driving on a busy A1 to make an appointment arranged ages ago.

I start taking anti-histamine through late spring into summer and it works, provided I’m sensible with exposure and cream. Typical that I am allergic to sunlight.
