Magnus Toolmakersson will be walked all over the shop by other world leaders who recognise a wimp out of his comfort zone.

You think. I suspect underneath that wooden exterior is a pretty ruthless operator. He's certainly taken no prisoners in his reform of the Labour party, a former leader kicked out forever, and others suspended for long periods.

The law is a pretty cutthroat business. You don't get to become DPP without family connections or the old school tie without some Machiavellian shenanigans.

But I might be wrong, I've never met him.

Track days are only enjoyable if you could actually race someone.

Going around the same track trying to beat your own time doesn’t make you a better driver, instead you’re just someone who knows the track better than what you did previously.

That it is OK to just be you without endless threads about where you fit in with a load of people you don't know. Goes double for if a poll is involved.

When a thought pops into your head it is OK to work it through yourself without starting threads along the lines of; I saw a tin of Alphabetti spaghetti earlier, not seen one of those for ages, should I like Alphabetti spaghetti?

If starting a what car, bike, potato peeler, tea cosy, etc. thread and you are provided with a set of comprehensive and well reasoned suggestions, it should be compulsory to buy one of the suggested items. Also to be extended to Location Location Location, A Place In The Sun, and those low rent what car should I get TV shows.

Football is tedious and dull , even if people make a big deal about strategy etc it is popular because it is a very simple game appealing to people with lower iqs.

Given that millions of people don't like football, it's hardly an unpopular opinion.

Now my sister in law's opinion on football is quite unpopular. She says that straight men who don't like football are in fact closet homosexuals, and are not to be trusted. Not because she doesn't trust homosexuals, but she doesn't trust people who lie about their sexuality.

That's like saying if a woman doesn't like showjumping she must be a closet lesbian. Or absolute bks, one of the two and no mistake

That's not an unpopular opinion so much as a prejudice against homosexuals. She's blissfully gone through life meeting and interacting with homosexuals and never known it, because most people don't advertise that information. It's also a st version of the no true scotsman fallacy.

Women that are into football are almost always more annoying and even dumber than the men.

Tbh I've never thought about football supporters and sexuality.

It is there are so many other more interesting sports about that don't get TV coverage.

Glastonbury is full of people I wouldn't want to be around, too much preaching, virtue signalling and has become what it was supposed to be against.
