A long time ago (early 80s) my divorced mother brought her new boyfriend home. "Kids, this is Chris, Chris Trace". Later we learnt he was off that Blue Peter and I remember my young brother, who was about 9yo at the time, crying and shouting at my mum about why she couldn't date John Nokes as he was kind and loved Shep "really a lot".

(On the Blue Peter theme, I just looked and Peter Duncan is 70yo!)
