My unpopular opinion is that this is yet another thread that will lose it's appeal as it becomes taken over with political waffle.

Mrs Browns boys is probably the most unfunniest popular TV comedy show ever made that should never have got on TV in the first place.

Popularity does not equate to quality. QV The Daily Mail. MBB is objectively awful.

that's very mild! There is a person who posts on tiktok about her sweet shop and she's become famous due to her strong shetland language/accent. Have a go at this. Even as a scot it's pretty impossible!

Yes why not. We may well understand them as well as McCoist. Let's not forget, we understand him overall. But it's a bit tricky *at times*, as originally stated. But to be fair we're not very good at foreign languages, we're only trilingual!

I saw one unpopular opinion that struck a chord with me...

Rough towels are better than fluffy ones

fluffy ones have fabric softener on them which ruins their ability to absorb water so i think this is a universal one.

Having devoured one for lunch and seeing how few of them are left my current unpopular opinion would be "The UK needs more Wimpys".

Couldn't agree more, however they are actually on the rise since almost dying out a few years ago.

(although not as cheap as I remember them being, I'll forgive them for the nostalgia)

Good to hear they're on the way back. I've been lucky enough to live near one of the few remaining ones - any trip there baffles me how McDonald's took over considering the difference in food.
