I have a few, couple of plastic ones and an aluminium one. Was lent for review the Bronze (don't worry not going to push my blog here) and did find the weight to be an issue (plus the cost, but it was a limited and the brass is a lot cheaper).
I would suggest asking your colleague if you can try his as the size may prove to be an issue, and if not the weight (which does not stop you looking at the basic or aluminium sports).
