Yet more frivolous purchases, stuff you don't need...

Nor actually purchased, but definitely frivolous: the Throwflame Thermonator has to be the ultimate guard dog… Shame it isn’t AI-based for autonomous patrolling ![smile](/inc/images/smile.gif)

I'm angling for frivolity t'other way - currently have a Samsung tab S7+ (12") and I'm toying with a Tab 9 Ultra with an extra 2" of screen... In all honesty I have absolutely no need for it but
I have the Ultra, no way I would have anything else, it's just a lovely lovely thing in a way that you can't appreciate until you have one. I have the Tab S8 Ultra, I've had it nearly 2 years, the novelty still hasn't worn off. My only complaint is that it I've really struggled to get a sleeve cover thing that fits nicely and I still can't find a bag that matches it's dimensions well too.RC1807 said:
I bought some Peugeot grinders a couple of years ago. Didn’t think, and still don’t think, that they’re as good as the M&S items they replaced.
How’s your, erm, package?
I’ve got some really nice ones, heavy weight clear acrylic bodies, I think I bought them from John Lewis, at about £120.00 for the pair, salt and pepper. How’s your, erm, package?
I specifically bought them because the grinding mechanism was metal and not plastic.
My logic behind it was that they should in theory not ( no pun etc ) grind themselves down and wear out.
Sadly they have done just that, the pepper one is now useless.
I've had a 3D Printer for years. It was a bit pants. It was also absolutely enormous and consequently sat in the corner of my craft room taking up lots of space and being used to store crap on top of.
We have 3D printers at work and I'd asked one of the lads if they could print me something I needed, he did and I was amazed at the difference in the print he'd handed me and the rough crap that came out of mine.
Came home, showed print to him indoors who agreed with my sentiment, sold old printer for £100 and ordered myself this little beauty that takes up half the room and can print to a much better standard.
This is one of my first 'test' prints from it, a 3D rendering of the Vegas F1 circuit.
