Loved this tune when I was a kid.

It’s difficult to ‘Unser’ this, though…

Banned by the BBC.
Always wondered what make the bike was, sounds like an early Japanese 4 stroke moped like the Honda SS50, either way doesn't look much fun for two up biking with the leader of the pack hehe

Am I the only one who, whilst singing "Leader of the Pack" to myself, always tries to emulate the motor cycle sound?

Its a 80cc 2 stroke, mid 1960's Yamaha YG1.

Many of its parts found their way onto the very popular FS1-E, 1970's sports 50cc moped (and YB 100) that many started their motorcycle journey on. (myself included)

The soundtrack sounds like a Triumph.

Emulating the motorcycle sound in Leader Of The Pack is simply a warm up exercise for listening to Bat Out of Hell ...

Correct, and he was behind Milli Vanilli if you’re of a certain age… and produced Eruptions hits during the late 70’s.

Not correct. Although he had limited input to the hit records recordings, Bobby Farrell sang on the live shows, he wasn't just a dancer.
