Yes it was. We did the scenic road there and that was a disappointment, its best viewed from a distance. Hotel was meh (and expensive), the restaurant terrible, but to sit on my deck and enjoy the view until it go dark was amazing.

It is a stunning spot for a hotel, did you take your own beer? When we visited it was “Dry”
