Count, why do you seem to exclusively date mental cases?
This is a question I've been asking myself. They all seem nice enough when I first start chatting to them. To be fair the blonde lass and the recruitment girl are normal enough so far - but there's still plenty of time for the mental to emerge...

A good friend is dating single mum...
Just came back from picking up my son from school, it makes you realise that most attractive women at 33+ have a child by now as so many hot mums at the school gate. And many, even if unhappy, won't leave the father as they want kids to have a family structure till kids are older.

Well know saying, that if a hot girl hasn't been snapped up by 30 or so, then you need to question why.
Yea, one 29-year-old lass on Bumble actually asked directly "how come you're still single", had that a few times actually - probably best to take it as a compliment...Well, fun date with the blonde lass, only a little less debauched than last Friday's date. Certainly met with more success and she even made me a bacon sandwich in the morning.
Going to tidy up the flat and have a pub lunch with a mate to shake off the hangover. Date with recruitment girl set up for 8 pm tonight.
Asked to take a look at her Tinder last night out of interest, just to see what life on the app was like on the other side. She's quite cute but certainly no supermodel and has curves. Couldn't count the number of matches, 30/40+ with 99+ people who'd swiped right she'd not even looked at.
The number of profiles with the only black on white shots, only 1/2 images or no bio went right into the bin even if they looked hot. The good news is the quality of most of the guy's profiles is shocking to be honest.
some 'hot girls' set their own bar too high and think they can get away with the same pickiness until all of a sudden they are 30 and their looks might be not quite what they were, or maybe men can't be doing with their high maintenance s
t etc... they get a bit desperate maybe... doesn't have to be full mental, but if you time it right you can get a bargain!

The bargain quote got me ![](/inc/images/censored.gif)

Just had 40 min call with gothy lass, becoming worryingly besotted. Looks like the date for next Saturday date is on. Always the fiery, artistic ones which get me.

The blonde girls love of crap sitcoms and lack of ambition where a bit of a turn-off - "Oh s
t I've missed Hollyoaks" was one horror that stuck on my mind from this morning. Certainly a girl I'd of had fun with for a while years back but in terms of long term relationship potential not looking great.
Don't rule them out. If you want long-termness you need them to have some "hobbies" so that they're not mithering you all the time when you want to do stuff that you enjoy. My missus is into all the soaps and a bit obsessed with them if I'm honest, but it means I can get on with hobby stuff of my own or go with my mates for drinks/play some pool for example, without her pestering me because she's bored and doesn't know what to do with herself. Equally, because she's got a never-ending backlog of soaps to watch and has a bunch of mates of her own, if I'm busy working she's got stuff to do and people to see to keep her entertained so that I can get stuff done without distractions. Having a woman with no hobbies (and no friends) is not a pleasant experience as they tend to be control freaks because they have no life of their own, so they try to control yours.![](/inc/images/censored.gif)

Pretty much.![](/inc/images/censored.gif)
Time it with the ovaries drumming away. (Or in my last example, her becoming VERY worried she was about to have the menopause in her mid 30s "because my Mum had hers at 45"

And its a dangerous game we play.
Agree on the Hobbies thing for partners though. Doesn't have to be the same as yours either.

In app related news
Hinge has now put the height filter into their "pay for it" section. So most of the likes I'm getting are from the shorter ladies. Fine I suppose, but it makes the app less attractive to me as height is a "thing" for me
And Bumble seems to have a major glitch where I've set my radius to 11 miles. And it's seemingly only sending my potentials that are outside that!

Fair point, just wish it was a more exciting hobby than the Kardashians - dated horse riding lass and could really relate to her obsession. Still, will see what happens. Covered in bruises, spent a lot of the night in stitches (she is a good laugh) so has a fair few positives. S1KRR said:

Cheers for the headsup, being 5'11 I've added an inch - such a strange female obsession. CountZero23 said:
