On a similar-ish note. Anywhere recommended to park a car and get to from Wembley for a gig on a Sunday night? We were going to train it and stay over but a change in work means I need to drive back afterwards.
Ta
Amersham/Chesham/Chalfont can work quite well if you're the right side of London.

Get the tube in, which will be fine if you allow yourself plenty of time.

When you leave, turn left off the main Wembley drag and walk to Preston Road tube station. it's about a 25 minutes walk but it's the stop on the Metropolitan Line before Wembley Park. You'll get a seat on the train and it's a lot more pleasant than shuffling along to Wembley Park with tens of thousands of other people and cramming yourself into a packed carriage when the train does arrive.

As an aside, Preston Kebab House is just by the station entrance and, as we sneaked in just as they were starting to close up, they were VERY generous with portion sizes!

Jumping onto this as I'm also going to Bruce on 27th july.

We have a hotel booked for the saturday night in Chalfont st Giles so will need somewhere easy to park near-ish to wembley that will be relatively easy to get back out after the gig.

I've got a blue badge but unfortunately the accessible wembley parking is booked so if we can park somewhere close and do a couple of stops on the tube/train it would be ideal.

ta very much!

At Wembley tube it can be quicker and more comfortable to catch the train heading away from London. Travel one stop and then switch platforms and head back in.

That way you avoid the crush on the platform as most people will be heading in to town. You also get a seat and can watch the scrum to get into your carriage.

Top tip, I’ll be trying that.
