A nice simple one that i'm sure has already been answered but thought about today ... for the umpteenth time
Why when you place pillow cases, bedsheet and duvet cover into the washing machine individually .. come wash finish the pillow cases always end up inside the duvet cover
Because you didn't bother to button the duvet cover before putting it in the machine. Why when you place pillow cases, bedsheet and duvet cover into the washing machine individually .. come wash finish the pillow cases always end up inside the duvet cover

Your washing machine is possessed by helpful laundry demons; to exorcise them place the machine inside a circle of 13 laundry balls, scatter socks around the outside and then set it on fire.

Most counties in this country seem to end in Shire and named after the county town such as Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire etc with a few exceptions like Wiltshire and Hampshire, why is this and why do we not have a Kentshire or Surreyshire for example?
Counties that aren't shires were Anglo-Saxon kingdoms.
