I noticed that last night, and was similarly outraged.

People who invite you to a "war room" to "triage" something.

It's a meeting about fixing stuff, get a grip knobber.

Haha 'war room' and 'triage' would push me over the edge I think furiousfuriouslaugh

I'm still incensed by hearing the term 'road map' to describe the events leading up to CV restirctions being lifted.

I've heard people asking if we can get a "go, no go" You're not launching a rocket!

They don't but I might now you (and a Google) have introduced this horrific thing to me.

That said I suspect it's probably already in use in another higher level war room biglaugh

The use of the term Train Station in Houses Under The Hammer is so endemic that I
feel Lucy, Martin, Dion and the freckly Scottish lassie are doing it deliberately
to sabotage my morning vibe.

Kate Garraway. She seems to be in the news every week and has a book out at the moment, and all because her husband got the covid. There is something slightly distasteful and 'me me me' about the whole thing, plus she must be coining it in. She might be brave and strong, but she isn't in a unique position any more. I lost an elderly relative about four months ago, who I hadn't seen since the start of lockdown. I got to watch their funeral over a grainy webcam. This is the reality for thousands of people at the moment.

On a similar note, I've been watching the Bake Off stand up to cancer series. This week the sob story was about a guy with incurable cancer. It seemed to focus rather heavily on how terrible it all was for his wife. Again the 'me me me' factor seems to have overtaken the actual sufferer of the illness. The guy has been handed a death sentence, but the real victim here is his wife of course.

STV probably blew their budget on a pint of milk and a packet of Hob-Nobs for the office.

I hope all the Scottish viewers enjoyed the England / San Marino game. A match full of incident, end to end excitement and goal mouth action. Did I see Gareth Southgate nodding off at one point? Even the subs had to be dragged onto the pitch.redcardgrumpy
