If you can get an estate car or van here in the next two weeks you can have it, seriously, it's quite possibly going to a scrap dealer!!!
Cheers for the kind offer but it will be better if you sell it or donate it too someone who needs it.

I'm the kitchen at The Diabetic Confectioner with the second - and with any luck successful - batch of brownies.

The first batch I managed to incinerate.

This means cocktails will be served slightly later than usual.

If you have any concerns, please address them to one of the stewards. Things here are a little fraught.

The baby brownies will sense it and be just as bad as their parents!

having watched the England game, I've rewarded myself with a large chicken shish kebab and garlic sauce..., washed down with a can of wife beater. Now watching to see who they'll play

It's actually a lot of fun to use!!
With some of these things (the older types anyway) a little judicious jiggery-pokery with the electric knitting can double the maximum speed.
Just saying......
hehe
Or add another battery and overpower the motor... but I'd know nothing about that either wink

Home from the in laws after a family gathering. Pulled bbq pork, brown roll, Parmesan wedges followed by vanilla white choc cheesecake. Watched England scrape through, they didn’t deserve the win.

Sadly, I fear my new to work will prevent me from watching the GP. If I’m lucky I might be able to play a rerun this evening. I hope those who see it live enjoy it! smile

I had a think.

And I concluded.

The last time I was really interested in Formula 1 was Damon Hill's pursuit of the World Championship.

I was keen for Lewis Hamilton to do well, but the trepidation had gone.

Excitement diminished.

frown

Abu Dhabi 2021 finished F1 off completely.

And no mistake.

Good morrow fellow Trivialities everywherewavey
The weather through the bedroom curtains looks grey and uninviting, we are however off out for a drive and lunch a bit later, yet to decide where we're going.

I lost interest in F1 around the time it became a procession with Schumacher winning just about every race and bumping into others who looked like they might win, much prefer BTCC and Australian V8 supercars, although sadly I can't watch the V8 supercars anymore as it's on a pay to view channel now!!

As we were going over to the tip yesterday a slightly chunky bloke dressed in an England kit with a cross of St George flag draped on his shoulders was hurrying along the pavement, it was all I could do to stop myself shouting out the window "what's the rush? They're only going to lose anyway!" But they apparently won on penalties.

Totally agree Dicky. Brits 1,2,3 on the grid will probably take each other at the first corner...

Good morning all.

We got back from holiday on Friday night to a chilly England. Spent yesterday unpacking and trying to stop Mrs WS overloading the washing machine. The grass needs cutting and other garden jobs to do. The cars need petrol, might as well do it this morning before the price increase following emergency budget.
smile

That's all for now
