Morning all, waking up to a not a totally unexpected 200 seat swing to Labour.

Mrs B came home really tired last night, huge turn out of voters apparently, with orders they had to be packed up and voting boxes gone by 4 mins past 10 (polling closed at 10pm) because some seats race to be the first to report back votes counted...

Same as Bobbers here, wet, grey...

So a day of jobs at wiltshire, yesterday I burnt my way through a years worth of Mrs B's company records, and filled a green wheelie bin with brambles covering my daughters bins

Then I'll be running off to Wales on my own Sat morning to collect some urgent docs, watch the footy and come back Sun. Other than that I think i'm just down for fun with the grandkids...

BN had a big one a while back, it was touch and go for a bit. That’s the short version, the long version is yikes but also frown

Mrs H knee was giving her pain so I made a cup of tea for her at 05:00. Don’t mind being up this early in the “Summer”

Its sunny but a touch windy here, I've just been outside for 5 minutes. Its not early July weather. I blame the Labour Government.

At least it's light. Taking a while for that to heal Hammo?

Drizzle here which is usually ok to fly in but visibility is poor. Trouble with the mini is wind, there's been a few times I've struggeled to get it back against the wind even in sport mode.

Last time on the beach the sea mist suddenly rolled in, had to hit home button even with the strobe on and didn't see it until it was 10m above. I could hear it. Thought I'd lost it that time, and no good pictures either.

Wet here, at least it’s Friday. Our constituency has changed to LibDems after 176 years of Tory.

Day 1 of 3 of system admin and data importing to have our major project go-live ready for Monday morning. Deep breath; head down.

At least I can be inspired by at least one Labour showing not to have been in vain.

Yeah Her Ladyship is working Saturday and as it was going to be dry, i wanted to go fly round a couple of - to me at least - interesting local features, however, the wind is predicted to gust up to 36mph and the Mini 2 can't handle that so....is sad frown

Oh well, have to watch the BSB from Snetterton instead then...life can be so cruel sometimes hehe

To quote my learned friend, i blame the Labour Government hehe

Gud Moaneve, one an dawl.

As previously reported, it's grim dahn Sarf, so as far as perambulationing is concerned, the going looks a bit splashy. Still, musn't grumble. Actually, I can grumble, so I will.

My Plan A for the morning was to do my usual early walk, and then walk to the doctors' surgery in the village for my annual asthma checkup, which is firstly superfluous because I no longer have any symptons, and secondly I usually have my annual checkup in February, so it seems that either my GP has dementia, or the mice have taken up residence in the computer.

Anyway. The rest of the day will be divided up between domestic chores and watching the practice sessions from Silverstone. I used to go to watch the Friday sessions, and took my son when he was five years old. As we reached the old Bridge corner, Allan McNish came through on a hopt lap (this was back in the V10 era) and I'll never forget the look on my son's face as he experienced a proper F1 car close up, fully lit. He's 27 now, and still remembers it.

Have as good a day as possible!

Some Peugeot parts which Peugeot will not supply can be obtained from your …. Fix Or Repair Daily parts store.

Is that trivial …. maybe/ maybe not … £250 vs £6 cause the people in Rennes can’t be harsed to sell individual bits, only complete assemblies
